At UDAAN we offer you travel-related services so that you can optimize your travel experience. The services offered by UDAAN range from travel facilitation such as the Visa Concierge Service.

This list is not exhaustive and varies depending on the relevant government’s requirements and the type of visa. When you make use of our Wi-Fi/hotspot services provided by us at venues, some information is collected automatically. This information includes e.g., the unique device identifiers know as MAC ID, start and stop timestamps of your connections, amount of traffic and the logout reason type. In some countries, where mandated by law we must keep the logbooks of users of our Wi-Fi. For this purpose, we might request your name, surname, ID number.
We will use the “performance of a contract” or “Consent” as the lawful basis for the processing of your personal data. This means that when you purchase a service from us, you enter into a contract with us to receive that service. We cannot deliver a service to you without using personal data from you. For example, in order to provide the form filling assistant, we will need a copy of your passport.
If we do not rely on “performance of a contract,” as a lawful basis, we will ask for your consent for the processing of your personal data.
To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal information is consent, you can anytime withdraw your consent that was given to UDAAN earlier. However, without your consent in most of the circumstances we cannot continue to process the services that you have requested. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. In regard to marketing purposes, we will not contact you for marketing purposes unless you have given us your explicit permission to do so, nevertheless you have right at any time to withdraw your consent for marketing purposes without effect on our services, provided to you.
We retain and hold your personal data in order to be able to perform a requested service, such as form filling or courier delivery of your travel documents. This information is retained by us for 7 years after the collection of your personal data.
We may have to share your personal data to other parties in order for us to be able to provide you our service. We will only share your data as part of the performance of our contract with you. We will never sell your personal data to a third party. For example, we will share your personal data with a courier company if you have asked us to deliver your travel document to your home or office, we will need to provide the courier company with your name, delivery address, and a contact phone number.
We only use suppliers and partners that have sufficient privacy and data protection measures in place.
We do not transfer your data outside of India unless required by a third party providing services you have requested from us, such as international hotel bookings, international air ticket bookings, etc.
In order to protect your privacy and to authenticate that the request is genuinely from you and not from anyone else masquerading as you, we might request some additional details of your last interaction with us, some details that nobody else would know about.
This is to ensure that it is really you who is making the request and not someone else. We will only request enough information to enable us to identify you properly.
